Alesha Dixon
So glad to have her back on the show - she’s one of the best guests ever!!!  We talk about the Strictly fuss; the perils of dating now she’s famous; and see if she can break her record for having the longest laugh

Listen here

NDubz
Mobo award winning, and platinum selling band N-Dubz on the show for the first time.  Dappy, Frazer and Tulisa make up the band, and I'll be honest, for most of the interview I don’t understand what they are saying - they’re far too 'street' for me – so they try to teach me some N-Dubz lingo, so I can be a little more cool and street like them. Listen here

JLS
They're back!!!! We chat about their new single and album, and performing in front of Simon Cowell again!!! Plus, as the guys have been living in each others pockets for over a year now, we find out their worst habits, and could a split be on the cards already because of these bad habits? Listen here

Daniel Merriweather
Daniel's back on the show, fresh from his UK tour, I find out how that went, and also chat about his new single with Adele, and ask him why they both sound so miserable on it (I ask about all the important stuff) plus, Daniel has some very important info about not trusting anyone with 4 letters in their name?! Weird bloke. I had to interview him though whilst I was doing a show, but still had to record it, so it was a very strange experience, and start by telling him I wouldn't do it for everyone! Listen here

Jay Sean
The guy who has become the biggest British male star in the states since James Blunt, and also the guy who finally ended the Black Eyed Peas 26 week run at number one in America. He's on the show, to talk about his new life as a huge star, and reveals the moment he realised his life was crazy. It involves a goat on a farm in Texas! He's also good mates with Keisha formerly of the Sugababes, so we find out if she's doing ok since the split. Listen here

Dizzee Rascal
Mr Rascal is currently on his biggest UK tour, and managed to pop in for a chat before one of his gigs.  We find out what life is like on the road with one of the biggest British male stars right now - also if he's been behaving himself on tour as well!! Listen here

Cobra Starship
Brand new band from America, who's debut single 'Good Girls Go Bad' is Top Ten over there right now. The guys talk about touring, and the antics they get upto on the tour bus - they think it's quite tame, but from what they say, it sounds like an episode of Jackass!!! Listen here.

Taio Cruz
Mr Cruz is back on the show to talk about his new album, plus I manage to blag myself an invite to his party in a few weeks to celebrate his recent success (I don't know if I actually have, or whether it's just one of those things they say in interviews!) I also grill him as to why he never gave me the exclusive about his connection to Cheryl Cole, and plus find out which Sugababes he wants to work with! Listen here

The Veronicas
Twin sisters Jess and Lisa, hail from Brisbane Australia, and admit that they can get bored and tetchy in interviews - however, good old fahsioned charm soon brought them round, and the girls were ace to chat to!  They even didn't mind me saying the identical twins freak me out!  The girls even offered me the chance to stay with them when I visit Australia later this year - bless 'em! Listen here

Alexandra Burke: X-Factor winner, and the lady with the biggest selling record of last year, Alexandra Burke bounced onto the show. She is so hyper-active, not at all like that crying wreck we remember from last year's show. We have to chat about her constant crying though. Also hanging out with her new best friend Beyonce, and how she found out she was going to be duetting with her.  And as her new single is called 'Bad Boys' we find out just how bad a boy can be before she'd whack him one! Listen to our chat here

Example:
The guy they're calling the new Calvin Harris, Elliott Greaves aka 'Example' is on the show on Thursday.  He's got the brilliant new single called 'Watch The Sun Come Up' out now.... everyone thinks its about a night in Ibiza - but it's not, its an endless night in a very random European country!  Also, find out why, even though he's on the verge of being a superstar DJ he always carries with him 7 pairs of Primark sunglasses! (I get all the scoops, me!) Listen to our chat here

Taio Cruz: Talking about his new single, 'Break Your Heart' - so we find out if he's a heartbreaker in real life. Listen to our chat here

Sugababes
The girls are back talking about brand new single, and new album. Also as the girls celebrate their 10 year anniversary (well, Keisha's celebrating it) we find out how well they really know each other.  And then we have a game of Snog, Marry, Avoid. (3 celebrities - which one would you snog, which one would you marry, and which one you'd avoid - well, throw off a cliff in this game) it has some surprising results! Listen to the interview here.

La Roux
Elly from La Roux was back on the show ahead of the Mercury Music Prize award which she was nominated for. So I found out if she was nervous and whether she had the speech ready.  Also, we find out if she was true to her word and snuck in her Guilty Pleasure 'Hadaway - What Is Love' into her gigs this year?

Dizzee Rascal
This guy is on a roll, 3 number one records on the trot and everyone is singing his praises. 'Mr Rascal' took time out from all his festivals and trips to Ibiza for a chat. Talking about his life now as one of the biggest stars in Britsh music, working with Calvin Harris, and as his new tune is 'Holiday', just what he's like to go on holiday with.  Plus, he said in an interview last year that he might be UK Prime Minister one day, so I ask him if his political ambitions are still strong - guess what his answer is! Listen to the interview here

Lily Allen
She's back! I love Lily Allen, never afraid to speak her mind, never afraid to just tell the truth! Lily talks about her summer of never-ending festivals (33 in total!) and what goes through her mind when she's on stage in front of 50,000 people.  Plus, what Lily is considering claiming against her tax bill - I don't think she'll get away with it.  And with GCSE results out - we find out how she got on when she was in school! Listen to the interview here

Calvin Harris
Back for a second time within a month - he must love it here, or he has a new album out? (He might mention this once or twice) A totally bizarre and random chat, which is why Calvin Harris is one of the best guests ever... we talk about: Sarah Beeny, whisking cream, Brokeback Mountain, The Goonies, Jam TV, working in supermarkets, A-Levels, X-factor, oh and Calvin's love of Cornflakes and Branflakes. Told you it was random! Listen here

Jeremih

Listen to the interview here

Mr Hudson
aka Ben Hudson, is Kanye West's new protege. He hails from Birmingham like myself, so we discuss the possibility of us taking Kanye out for a night in Birmingham.  Also, a bit of an exclusive, I ask him about his recent secret date with a global megastar, which he thought no one knew about! Listen to the interview here

Last year this 18 year old picked up the Mobo award for Best Newcomer, and so far this year, he's had one Top 40 on his own, and one with Ironik on the track Tiny Dancer.  His new tune 'Diamond Rings' is firmly in the Top 10. He's on the show on Thursday, talking about his nerves for his A-levels that he's about to get, stupidly he didn't take music! And also find out why they call him Chipmunk. I spoke to Natalie, lead singer from the group, and she's got a brilliant new single out called 'Evacuate The Dancefloor'.I don't know how or why it becomes one of the dirtiest interviews ever - but we just end up speaking in innuendo, and bursting out laughing randomly!  Such a nice girl.
Listen to the interview here

David Guetta

Listen to the interview here

Jordin Sparks
Jordin returns for the 3rd time, to talk about her epic new single 'Battlefield' - written by One Repulic's Ryan Tedder (Bleedin' Love & Halo).  Myself and Jordin have a history on the show, as I was the first person she told about her weak bladder when she laughs a lot! So we have to quickly mention it, but we also talk about losing her temper; a possible duet with Leona Lewis, and I give her some options if she ever wants to tour the UK. Listen here

Pixie Lott
She's only 18 year old, and has a new single out all about being a rebellious teenager - so I get her to dish the dirt on the naughtiest thing she did as a teenager.  And she also has a terrible story on why you should never eat out again! She's a great guest, with a brilliant future ahead (Blimey, I sound like her teacher writing her report don't I?) Listen here

Shontelle
Rihanna's mate from Barbados returns to the show, and we love having her 'cos she's such a good guest.  I try to get her to be more demanding now that she is going on tour with Beyonce, she need to be a diva now! And plus, as her new album is called Shontelligence - I put her to the test to see if she can answer the questions the smartest 2 year old in the UK can answer! Listen here

Daniel Merriweather
Tipped as one of the stars to be big in 2009, Daniel is familiar to the UK music scene having already had one top ten hit this year, and of course was on the massive tune Stop Me by Mark Ronson.  Hailing originally from Australia, he now lives near his mate Ronson in New York, so I ask him what all these showbiz parties are really like.  And also he reveals a weird injury that nearly cost him his career! Listen here

La Roux
"The Red Haired One" - well that's what it means in French! Elly Jackson is La Roux, and she's been dominating the top 3 on Hit40uk for ages, her brilliant debut single 'In For The Kill' has been a personal favourite of mine for a while, and I'm so pleased she took time out fo her busy schedule to pop in for a chat. She's toured with Lily Allen, and like Lily is not shy in saying what she thinks - and we love her for that. Elly talks about the hectic, but enjoyable life as a pop star; touring with Lily Allen; and which honest opinion lost her many fans! Listen here

Keri Hilson

You might not know the name, but you'll know the voice from many Timbaland's records (The Way I Are & Scream), and Keri doesn't just sing on them, she also co-writes them.  And as a talented songstress, she's written for Britney & the Pussycat Dolls too.  But she's finally going it alone, and has a brilliant debut single 'Return The Favour' out now. Keri talks about working with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake, and is also quite pleased that I sometimes offend people, as she can 'take it, deal with it, and give it straight back!' - have a listen to see if we get on by the end of the interview. Listen here

Ciara
She's hotter than soup at the moment! This girl is on such a roll.  Having burst on the scene a few years back with Goodies, and 1, 2 Step, she's back with two brilliant duets for 2009, and is the envy of women everywhere as they're with Enrique Iglesias & Justin Timberlake!  I ask her about the collaborations, and also about her extremely raunchy, ear-licking video with JT! Was her mother happy?  Find out by listening to the interview here.

Tommy Sparks
Brand new singer for 2009, Tommy Sparks popped in for a chat to talk about his new single She Got me Dancing. Dressed in a very sparkly jacket, Tommy talks about jetting to LA to film the video - for just 24 hours, also, why he likes to put on a show for his fans, and I ask him why he's not heard back from Lady Ga Ga - I think she's just being rude. Listen back to the interview

Tinchy Stryder:
The Prince of Grime, Tinchy Stryder returns to the evening show, and what a great year he's had so far. Off the back of his huge with with Taio Criz, he's hoping to score his first number one, with the new single, funnily enough, called Number One!  I ask him if he's nervous as to whether it will be a chart topper or not.
Plus, I have a very unique proposal for him, if he's looking for a collaborator on his next single!!!  Listen back to the interview

Vincent Frank is Frankmusik... a brand new singer, who's toured with Keane, Alphabeat and Robyn, and worked with Madonna's ex-producer Stuart Price on his debut album.  Everyone seems to be talking about him and tipping him as "the next big thing" so thought I'd drag him in for a chat.  He tells us about his new single, though doesn't reveal any Madonna stories even though he's mates with her producer! Gutted. He's also trying to do a world first: Live & Lost - the first interactive tour, whereby fans contact him via his website to suggest gigs to do (and they can by anywhere and anything) and he has to do them - we wish him luck! Listen back to the interview here.

The Noisettes
The Noisettes are a great new band for 2009.  Shingai, Dan & Jamie are going to burst onto Hit40uk in a big way this year, and thier dance anthem Don't Upset the Rhythm is already a big favourite.  the guys know how to have a laugh too: we talk about the never ending tour they've been doing the past few years; why Shingai is like Moses at their gigs; and we come up with a great way to better Michael jackson's concerts!  A great band - they deserve to be big. Listen back to the interview here. Listen to the interview here.

Metro Station
There's 4 of them (Mason, Trace, Blake & Anthony), but the two singers are most known for having siblings in Hannah Montana (Trace's sister is Miley Cyrus, and most importantly that means his dad is Billy Ray Cyrus! wow - what a muscial dynasty)  They are the hot new band from Los Angeles, and their new single, Shake It, should storm into the top 10.  The boys are also are horrifed when I reveal I've never seen an episode of Hannah Montana! Plus, find out what James might do on his upcoming tour to make it as good as Michael Jackson's gigs! Listen back to the interview here

Calvin Harris
He's the 25 year old Scotish Dance Music guru, having working with Kylie, landing a number one with Dizzee Rascal, and also a hugely successful debut solo album.  This is however, one of the bizarrist and most random interviews ever - but a very funny bloke, and lets just say we cover a number of topics: best place to meet celebs, rubbish plane food, what our Prime Minister Gordon Brown smells like..... oh yeah, no stone is left unturned. Have a listen.

Flo Rida
He's currently the biggest hip-hop star in American right now, with the fastest selling download in US history. His new tune samples the Dead or Alive classic, so I asked him what he thought about the eccentric lead singer, and former Celebrity Big Brother star Pete Burns.  Also, find out what British touristy stuff Flo likes to do over here, and he reveals a very unsavoury previous job involving going through rubbish! Listen back to the interview here

Kelly Clarkson
The world's biggest reality TV winner returns to the show for a second grilling. Kelly is a pleasure to have on the show. However, since she was last on, and took much ridicule from me on being the world's only vegetarian from Texas, Kelly has some news for us. Plus, after landing herself her first ever UK No 1, she reveals she doesn't mind that her fans have got hold of her new album weeks before it's released. Listen

Taylor Swift
If you haven't heard of Taylor Swift yet, fear not - you soon will. She's only 19 and about to conquer the UK charts too.  She's led a really bizarre life, which began growing up on a Xmas tree farm, and she had to pick bugs off the leaves - nice!  Obviously I use my unique flirting intreview technique, and end up calling her a psycho! It's the way I have with them! ha ha! Listen to the interview here

Laura is new singer hailing from Dublin.  She's only 21, but has already toured with the likes of James Brown, Al Green, Aretha Franklin and Estelle, and has got a brilliant new single called Shine out soon.  Have a listen to find out the struggle she had in Southern America to convince the 'not-so bright people' there.  She's lovely though - and has a really sexy irish accent! Listen to the interview here

The Saturdays
The Saturdays return to the show for the third time - I love these girls.  Always full of fun, and they have a mischeivious look in their eyes!  No swearing on Blue Peter like last time - although I do wind the girls up that they will let the side down if their new Comic Relief single doesn't get to number one!  And I reveal to the girls they have a big celebrity fan! Listen to the interview and see them photocopying their faces.

Alesha Dixon
She was one third of Mis-Teeq, and then waltzed her way into our living every Saturday night on Strictly Come Dancing.  Right now, she's just as busy with her new album 'The Alesha Show' and her gorgeous new single 'Breathe Slow'. By the way, if you want to sponsor her for her Comic Relief Killamanjaro climb, visit her website
Listen to the interview here

Lily Allen
Watch up she's back! So much stuff to ask her, as she's never out of the papers!  So is she the new Doctor Who assistant? Is she at war with Katy Perry? And can I get her to start a new feud with somebody else!  Lily reveals that a certain new President has her CD, - and Lily's mate who was in the studio with her made sure the interview came to an abrupt end! Listen here

Shontelle
Shontelle is Barbados' second biggest export after Rihanna! And we have to mention the 'R-word' as they were childhood friends - in fact Shontelle made Rihanna do something not very nice when they were younger - listen to find out. She reveals her favourite T'shirt from a very bizarre party, which led us onto talk abotu world records - and then the interview just gets silly..... funny, but silly!!!

Lady Ga Ga
She's the singer that has quite literally taken the world by storm - number one everywhere.  Had to ask her about her 'flamboyant' fashion sense; her love of British tea; and also I tried to get her to try a famous British dessert - but she thought I was making it up..... have a listen to find out how I really shocked her with my pudding suggestion! Listen to the interview

Kelly Clarkson
Hooray! The original American Idol returns, and she's back to making brilliant pop music too! So pleased to have Kelly back for 2009.  Loads to talk to her about: drinking too much at xmas to cope with families, her being a vegetarian from Texas (not the done thing) and also listen to find out what she does on the red carpet that she really shouldn't have revealed!! Listen to the interview here

Tinchy Styder
The new Dizzee Rascal is taking Hit40uk by storm this year, so I had to ask him what it felt like to finally be in the charts that he'd listened to all this time.  And plus as he's dubbed 'The Prince of Grime' I had to poke a little fun out of his nickname - thankfully he saw the funny side!!! Phew. Listen to the interview here

Akon
Singer, song-writer, producer, record boss - this man does everything. Thankfully Akon took time out from his hectic schedule to return to the evening show.  We had a little gossip about his new artist Lady Ga Ga who he is number one with at the moment.  I had to ask him what it's like collaborating with all these other artists - over 150 in the past 2 years alone!  A top bloke, who deserves all the success he is reaping now. Listen to the interview here

Kardinall Offishall

Canada's Hip Hop Ambassador returns to the evening show for 2009 - and he's louder than ever! I also shocked him by getting his good buddy Akon to ask him a question. Plus, his new single features a sample of the classic "Tide Is High".  Last time this was in the charts was by Atomic Kitten - I thought I'd get his response on this too! A very funny guy, and a top bloke. Listen to the interview here

Kings of Leon

The Kings of Leon were THE band of 2008 (along with Coldplay and The Killers). After killer performances at Glastonbury and the V-festival, the boys were on the road in December 08 for their first headline arena tour, and I managed to call Jared from the band in his hotel room.  I think he'd just got up, so he sounded a little sleepy! Listen to the interview here

Sugababes
Amelle, Kiesha and Heidi returned to the evening show in December to talk about the bands new single. We talked about them being 3rd favourites for splitting up in 2009 (they're not by the way), their raunchy new video.  And also I had to address the difficult subject of how one of them has a really annoying laugh! How did the girls take the news when I broke it to them..... listen to find out!
