The Xmas Factor

Has your school got the Xmas factor?

We have been looking for school choirs to take part in the Mercury FM Xmas Factor competition, with the chance of singing at the finals in the Belfry Shopping Centre and winning £1000 to spend there!

If you have already registered to take part you could be one of the 10 schools who we'll record singing a Christmas Carol or Festive song.

On Mercury FM Breakfast each morning from Monday 30th November to Friday 4th December, Garry Wilson will play out the recordings from two schools and ask listeners to vote for their favourite.

This will give us 5 finalists and again from Monday 7th December we'll be asking listeners to vote for their top choir.

All the finalist choirs (max 30 pupils per choir) will be invited to sing at our Xmas Factor event at the Belfry Shopping Centre on Thursday 10th December.

They'll get to perform in front of hundreds of listener’s, shoppers and of course their own family and friends and we'll be announcing the overall winner.

Each child that participates in the final will receive a certificate and a CD, and the winning choir will receive £1000 worth of vouchers to spend on themselves at the Belfry Shopping Centre.
