Cladding blown across Crawley supermarket

Cladding from a new-build block of flats in Crawley's been blown across a supermarket Carpark during strong winds, injuring an elderly lady.

She was hurt at the Peglars Way Asda earlier - some of the roads nearby have been closed while the debris is cleared up.

Countryside Properties, who're the builders of the fifty-five flats, say they regret to confirm the cladding did come off in gusts.

They also say they're proud of their health and safety record and are working with police and investigators to work out what happened.
