Charity Cards for Good Causes (Community)

Location:St Matthew's Church, Redhill, Surrey

Shoppers in Redhill can buy Christmas cards from more than 24 national and local charities in one place. Cards for Good Causes opens its Redhill shop on Friday, October 30th in St. Matthew’s Church, Station Road. Charities receive at least 75p in every £1 from card sales. The shop is open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm until December 17th.

"Queen of the Cakes" (Community)

Big Charity Quiz (Community)

The Big Charity Quiz runs from May - November. Five charities, (Sparks, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, XLP Research Trust, CGD Research Trust and the Licensed Trade Charity) which all care for children and young people, have joined together to raise money by inspiring publicans, community groups and businesses, etc to run a charity quiz event in their local pub or social club.

We will provide all of the materials that you need (quiz, promotional pack, etc) at no cost, and all you have to do is name a date, run the quiz, and send us the proceeds.

We are confident that it will be a fun evening, hopefully boosting takings on the night for the venue or pub where you stage it, and also demonstrate to the local community just how much good work you do to help young people through charitable support.

Indoor Charity Table Top Sale (Community)

Creasys Drive Adventure Playground are holding a charity indoor table top sale in aid of our "love in a shoebox appeal" on SUNDAY 1st NOVEMBER from 12 midday to 3pm at Creasys Drive in Broadfield to raise funds to send shoe boxes full of gifts and toys to needy children in coutries who would not normally ever get a gift at Christmas at all including places like Romania, Maldova, Bosnia and more. It costs £2.50 per shoe box to send and we are planning on sending 200 or more shoeboxes which will cost us £500. The cost for a table is £10.00 and entry is 30p for adults , children free.
