Charity Cards for Good Causes (Community)

Shoppers in Redhill can buy Christmas cards from more than 24 national and local charities in one place. Cards for Good Causes opens its Redhill shop on Friday, October 30th in St. Matthew’s Church, Station Road. Charities receive at least 75p in every £1 from card sales. The shop is open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm until December 17th.

Charity Concert (Musical)

Local ladies choir, Songbirds will be joining with Pound Hill Junior School Choir for a concert on Saturday 7th November at Hazelwick School, starting at 7pm.
Tickets cost £4 for adults, £3 for children and Senior Citizens and are available on the door. All monies raised are going to St Catherine's and Help For Heroes.
The charities were chosen by members of Songbirds Choir. One member recently lost a friend to cancer, who was supported by St Catherine’s, and another member’s son was recently brought home from fighting in Afghanistan, with a head injury. He is now doing well.
The choirs want to raise as much money as possible for these worthwhile charities, and we hope that the people of Crawley will support us by coming along. We promise an evening of entertainment, including pop songs, such as Let It Be, as well as songs from Sister Act and The Lion King. The children's choir will be singing their "Pop Medley 2009" which ranges from Take That to Katy Perry!
